Snowy weekend in Baku

We were going to go out today, but woke up to heavy snowfall... it wasn't really settling on the ground, but going out was not a tempting option so we stayed at home. Here's D 'reading'. He loves looking at books. We persuaded him not to chew them, and now he carefully turns the pages, looks under flaps and touches the textured parts. We haven't quite got into a bedtime story routine - sometimes he's happy to listen, other times he wants to race through the book or flip back to his favourite pages, sometimes he just wants to go to sleep. But we are getting into a routine of a Saturday/Sunday morning story in Mummy and Daddy's bed. I love my lazy weekend mornings with him. If I'm lucky I wake up before him (touch wood he's not yet a 6am baby thank goodness) and get to have a cup of tea and read some of my own book before he wakes up.
