Angel Of The North In Newcastle.

Well I had three hours in Newcastle today so I hopped on a number 21 bus to the Angel of the North a massive steel structure near Birtly for a visit and a few snaps. I whittled it down to two the first was me standing in front of the monument with my arms out like the sculpture but I felt like Kate Winslet on the bow of the Titanic so that was a non starter to cheesy so I decided on this one from behind the sculpture where it was silhouetted from what sunshine there was with the lonely bystander in the shot for scale but an impressive sight all the same.
