Olive tree

With so many vines being pulled up and not replanted, it always makes me happy to see a newly planted olive grove. It shows that someone has hope for the future; olives are not a quick crop! There are quite a few small plantations of olives around the village now, with the olives being taken to small local mills. It will never rival Andalusia, but careful growing and harvesting will produce fine oils.
