Spring onion

I have been nagging about spring. I cant wait for spring and the snow to go and so on. So here is some springy money saving advise..... actually about spring onions.
After I finished using my onions I just leave the bottom half (the onions themselves) to live on in some water. And they start to grow again and I can start cutting them after few days :)
