Half full.

Final day off today so I headed to my favourite nature reserve where 30km of sweet and slightly technical singletrack were waiting. Unfortunately the place was closed at both gates with no indication as to why.

Decided not to waste the day and checked out another nature reserve, Rietvlei, where I'd visited before and noticed they had an MTB trail.

Sadly it was only 6km long going up and down on the same piece of land and lots of it was overgrown and uncared for. Nevertheless it was a ride in the sunshine and I added some tarmac till I'd played for an hour and felt I'd had my R10 (85p!) worth. Home to a fresh mango smoothie and now for a few hours hammock reading. Can't complain.
