The Downside of Cats

A counterpoint to the pictures of my cats being cute.

This robin was Simba's special delivery in the early hours of the morning.

They've been relatively good recently. There was a nasty period a couple of years ago when they learnt how to catch bats but that seems to have stopped _ I suspect because like moles they aren't great eating, and to be fair to them they do eat everything they catch unless it is taken off them.

It doesn't seem to have much impact on the bird life in the garden.

Thinking about it they stopped their killing spree during the period when we were fostering chickens and they discovered birds could be above them in the pecking order. Perhaps it is time to borrow Geraldine back for a week to remind them.
