The moon is like a baboon...

Tonight there was a total eclipse of the moon. I was messing with the exposure to get a shot of the moon with no light on it and found that the dark side of the moon is actually red. Should I tell Pink Floyd?

It looks like it's being heated on an open fire, like a cauldron (full of cheese perhaps?)
