Team Turtle...

Today was spent organising things for America such as requesting flights, uploading my contract and sorting out my Visa forms. My London embassy interview is at the end of this month and there are a million forms to fill out! Wahhh! I also have to have American size passport photos so a special trip to Jessops is required. I will be arriving in New York on the 12th June and will be spending the night in New York City getting to know some people from camp before being picked up at 2pm on the 13th June for a week of lifeguard training. Ha. Best start going swimming more in preparation.

Today's food has been quite good I ate pate on toast for breakfast and this evening I had a pork curry which was really nice. It was a week and a day old :/ but it didn't have mould on it therefore I believe it was edible. For desert I had apple pie and ice cream which I haven't had in yonks and it went down a treat.

The picture above shows the team I was assigned to during the application stage of Camp Leaders. Woooooo go Team Turtle! The camp that I am going to only hires skunks but I was an exception! Ha.
