Magnolia Blossom

I love this stuff. We put a tree in front of the house a few years ago and it's so cool when it's in flower. Smell's great too. I did a few prints based on it last year but I might still have to get my sketch book out again tomorrow. The blossom started coming out yesterday morning, so I got to thinking what a nice display we'd have later in the week, and then by evening time there was loads out. Mind you, apparently Nottingham was the warmest place in the country yesterday - it was a bit grey here this morning when I took this. I had to do my own bit to brighten things up by sporting an Elvis t-shirt and pink-striped socks like some scruffy-middle-aged Teddy-boy!
