Camelia

Went to visit Betty (elderly neighbour) in her new bungalow. In her tiny back garden is an absolutely stunning camelia. She insisted on cutting a few for me to bring home and here is one of the buds just opening. Other pics on Flickr.

Am going to try the Five Things exercise posted by Rach.

1. My needle biopsy was negative.
2. I have king prawns to eat later.
3. My dog loves me.
4. My new haircut is a bit brutally short but it will grow.
5. I saw my cousin today looking incredibly well. He is recovering from weeks on life support after his carotid artery ruptured. I cried after he left from sheer relief at seeing him looking so well.
