Woman in a Red Coat

Well, this is what I've been working on. It is inspired by one of the Fauvist artists' work - I forget which now. I don't have the courage yet to be that free with my brushwork, but I'm working on it....

Personally, I think the painting looks better than the photograph of it - the painting is softer while the photo seems to have picked out the detail more. But, on the whole, I'm pleased.
