Beach

This is my "home" beach and I have been to it a million times and shot on it a million times. I have photographed so many people in this grove of trees but I had never seen it from this perspective before and it appeared as something totally new to me this morning.

This evening, Mr. Apple surprised me with a huge palm tree as a birthday present. He wanted me to be able to feel a bit sunny and warm and beachy whenever I looked at it. It was a very sweet and romantic gesture, especially considering he brought it home on the bus, but it was just too huge for our tiny little house. And Fergus was going crazy trying to eat it nonstop. We will try to return it for another plant.
