The Archer's Stone
"Officially" known as Robin Hood's Stone, although I don't think it's suggested that he ever came near the place. This used to stand in a field nearby which was apparently used for archery practice. The grooves are thought to come from years of arrow sharpening. But, of course, no one really knows any more. It was moved in 1928 to its present location when houses were built on the field.
This thing is about 10 minutes walk from my house and I only discovered it today.
