Exams

Sunday is exam day! These are the cadets 25 turned up all aged between 14 and 16 lots about to go into GCSE's to do there cadet exams on a Sunday morning!

Again I am constantly amazed at these young people who give so much of there time to cadets, yes they get lots of fun stuff but they have to do the not so fun stuff too.

Our squadron is piloting on line exams, in the past it has been the tradional paper exercise. Steve and the other staff were all alittle anxious as we had not attempted this before, would the IT stand up to it? Thanks to Roger it all worked and we got 24 passes out of 25!

I did feel sorry for the poor lad who failed he was so upset. He will get to re sit in 10 days and he only has to answer the section he failed on but the mum in me wanted to give him a hug, which I couldn't!

Another sad thing now adays but thats a different soap box moment I will save for another time!
