I visited the Tate Liverpool to check out the Charline Von Heyl exhibition.

She's quite a rare beast in today's art world: an abstact impressionist. Is painting making a big comeback?

I took some sneaky snaps before the 'beep beep click' of my camera alerted the security.

This was the smallest canvas, and probably isn't typical of the great majority of the work on show. But I like it because it's old fashioned style appealed to me.
