Spring on my First Day Home

After 6 weeks on the hot dusty roads of South India and some 20 hours from Mumbai to Washington Dulles ,i find spring is happening ,amazing blue skies and balmy temperatures ..Washington DC is such a beautiful city of flowers ,gardens ,monuments
the only down side are the insane republicans who are lost in their own hypocrasy.
Thank god for Obama ,who naturally is not perfect but is doing an honest job in spite of these right wing fanatics who would repeal every law to do with peoples rights and health.
Not meant to start a political debate, but congress really should step outside , smell the flowers ,sit under a budding magnolia and meditate.
