Birthdays

August is a good month for birthdays in this family. It's mine at the beginning of the month and my son-in-laws at the end! Today it was my son -in-laws turn, unfortunately he had to work - something he has managed to avoid on his birthday since 1993!

Still we had a lovely family meal together and he has gone to see the latest Batman film with my daughter tonight. Harry is staying the night with us - he is still suffering with tooth issues, bless him. They are a pain (literally).

Our son has managed to get a job and we are delighted. It is mainly evenings and weekends but it will help fund his travelling back and forth to Uni next year. It seems to be so difficult for youngsters to get jobs at the moment so we are really pleased for him. We just had to open a bottle of champagne!
