Remains of the Day

The end of a thought provoking busy weekend.
Cleared a lot of overgrown rambling roses in the garden and attempted to dig out the buttercups growing between the paving stones on the patio with a plan to planting some low growing thyme in their place.
Showered and fed I sat in a wee dwam watching the flickering flame of the last few inches of my jasmine candle and how the dying blooms of Tuesday's tulips caught the candlelight.
Need to stir and do the final preparations for another week of work.
