Ben Macdui

A noisy ptarmigan shattered the peace of Coire an Lochain this morning. I spent the day walking in the Northern Cairngorms with a friend and we summited Ben Macdui, 1309m.

I've just discovered it's the second highest mountain in the UK, after Ben Nevis which would explain why I'm rather tired tonight!
