Stitch n bitch

A stitch and bitch is a regular meeting of (new and ) enthusiastic knitters who meet on a regular basis to knit in public and moan about stuff. I have never been to one (although I did come close once). Is it an odd concept? I guess it would be a good place to pick up knitting tips

I have been roped into knitting poppies for a school project do I thought I should make a start tonight. I addition to this I have been cooking (roast lamb), baking (lemon and poppyseed cupcakes) and shopping (new shoes!). A very productive afternoon and only a little bit of thinking about school. I thought it was about time I cut loose a little!
