After surviving attempted cocktail poisoning last night I delivered a present from ed and Bex to the nut this morning, he was very pleased. Not only was there a truck ( he loves trucks) but you could disassemble it with the power drill provided and build it again. And again. And again. Which is what he spent most the day doing.

In between drillings, we (me, jim, finn, granny and the truck) went to mottisfont gardens, which was sunny and full of spring. it was generally a really lovely day.
