Gurkha Rifles

I found this box in the local dump.

I was going to paint it up but I after my pal said I should find out about him- I grew intrigued by the mysterious Major. I thought perhaps his family might want his box.

So I started an investigation tonight. The 4/9 Gurkha Rifles eventually became an Indian Army regiment in 1947. They seemed to have been involved in several actions and theatres, but I cannot find my Maj0r.

Hmmm- Any suggestions, Cyber Sleuths?
