Celtic Knot

Quiet Sunday on the South Mainland, only ventured outside once for a blustery walk along Quendale Beach. Had hoped to go into Lerwick tonight for Lise Sinclair's concert but the band are stuck on Fair Isle, so it's time for an indoor blip. Not sure where this little dish came from but it's a good fit for the décor in the Northern house and perhaps symbolises some of the knotty problems one grapples with in life - take a look from a different perspective and a beautiful intricate pattern emerges.
