Bullet Holes

These steel beads mark bullet holes from the 1956 revolution, when anti-Soviet protestors were shot in square facing Parliament. The revolt lasted about two weeks, over 3,000 were killed, and in the end one Soviet-backed government was replaced with another. David hauls groceries whilst I reflect on war.
