An Exercise in Futility!
What a FANSTASTIC day! Stunning weather, stunning day. I took the big boys (the DSLRs & various lenses) out very early this morning, it was very exciting as I've been waiting patiently for the right combination of weather and tides. Had planned to spend half an hour on two of our local beaches...three hours later, I leave covered in sand and you would swear I was in a war torn zone with the amount of comando positions I got in to get THAT shot. I even caused concern with a passerby as I was lying flat just observing in anticipation of...yep...you've got it THAT shot...
Anyhow the truth of the matter is as I spent so looooooonnnngggg down there I've got a lot of good shots and some very distinct series of shots that it's going to take a little time to edit them, but all in all a very pleasing very early morning dander to our beautiful local beach. This is one shot that can stand alone, this guy was painting his fence and I thought lovely...but an exercise in futility, no doubt it will be weather beaten in a few weeks. It is lovely in colour but something lends it to be in B&W.
I had planned to head off to West Dean Gardens after but with spending so long on the beach I thought maybe my garden could do with some TLC instead. I've re-arranged everything after a major clear out last week, I've sown all the seeds I have, gone very veggie this year, I really must go and get some more flower seeds to balance it out a bit more. I've dusted down the garden furniture and am right now enjoying my 1st supper (ok well maybe it's a bit early for supper) in the garden. After a horrid winter it is SO nice to see Spring and all the promises that brings!
