Things I like about Brighton
1) people are nice enough to pick up a doll and leave it on a gate to help it find it's owner, but also unconventional enough that it might be art, and that might be my favourite type of uncertainty
2) it's not that I like spending money (which is fortunate, I have little) but the rabbit warren of shops, stalls, markets, charity shops and general tat-rummaging opportunities are so vast as to make large parts of the city centre a walk-in gallery of special thing-ness. A paen of possiblities. I spend a day meandering and musing on some old photographs I found, then read some anarchist cartoons at the Cowley centre. Top cuppa there.
3) the top reason I love Brighton, my lovely family here; anny loo, johnny, Faye, wee jack, Ron, roopal and nicol. Anny loo for making it so easy to smile, be kind and laugh again and for putting me up in her lovely flat and bathing me in tea. Johnny, Faye and wee jack for catching up on life and choo choo's over pizza. Ron, roopal and nicol for a lovely meal round their's and some dance game that I took way too seriously but still lost. The older I get the more I appreciate the efforts all our folks went to to bring our huge family together so often. Now its like having an army of good friends whenever you need it. And I did a bit
