Beauty is all around us.

A pink polyanthus from the church garden.

The Spring flowers in the Church garden looked beautiful in the morning sunlight. It has been a wonderfully mild day and I heard and photographed a robin singing exuberantly. Robins, blackbirds and pink chaffinches are my favourite birdsongs.
This pink polyanthus looks like it is designed with heart- shaped petals.
I went to Christian fellowship this morning, home for a light lunch and then to the Cricket Club Spring Fair.
This was a first for the club and drew together several local crafts-people who had brought handmade goods, including felt badges, ceramic jewellery, knitted items and New Age incense sticks and holders.
There was a Body Shop stall run by my friend Julie and someone brought a fridge with locally made ice cream.
All in all a happy time was had by all.
