Ian's learning curve

Light and Motion

Looking through the pictures I have taken since buying this camera last month, I cant help but notice there are a lot of B&W shots (is it easier to get impact shooting in B&W and thus more encouraging to the beginner or am I simply a little monochromatic?)

Today, I thought i would try and inject some colour. Unfortunately, working in a rather dull office on a 'dark summers' day in Scotland, there really isn't that much colour about!

Hence - I thought I would manufacture some 'blue' by changing colour temperature on this shot of two anemometers under test before being deployed in the field.

Oh yeh - I got an e-mail today from a friend that simply said 'Normality is in the eye of the beholder....'.

I don't know what she was trying to tell me(?), however, it seems to suit this picture quite well.

I like it..........
