Birthday Baking #2

Well, this is the red velvet mixture that I blipped yesterday.

Today was my first attempt at piping. It wasn't a complete success as the frosting is made from cream cheese and was a little soft. However, it let me get a feel for the piping bag and I can honestly say that I will be more confident to attempt piping proper in the future.

They tasted as good as they looked.

Going out later to a posh Italian restaurant, daughter's choice. She wanted to go tonight instead of tomorrow after school.

Cup of coffee and a brownie (second birthday cake) now before I think about getting ready for tonight.
