Wedding...

I travelled to Bhairawaha this weekend to say goodbye to friends. One of the things which always touches me is the hospitality of Nepalis and the way in which they are happy to include you. The daughter of the neighbour of one of my friends was getting married....could I attend? No problem..

It's an honour and a privilege to be so involved, and people are happy to explain what is happening, and why.

On the day before their wedding night, the bride and groom are as god and goddess, and accordingly their feet are washed by all those present....
