Jubilee Gardens

As everyone is begining to get ready for the Queens Diamond Jubilee this year I thought I would post this blip of Jubliee Gardens near Devonshire Row in the city.
This small public garden was created for the Queen's Silver Jubilee in 1977.
Back then I was 7 years old and staying at my grandparents in Dunstable where everyone came together and we celebrated by having a huge street party. Everyone knew each other and there was such community spirit.
Society now has changed so much and some how I can't see that happening in the street where I live now, in fact out of the whole street I only know 2 of my neighbours and there is one neighbour I would rather throw food at than celebrate with them!
