High tide....

Got up nice and early today so I could get some chores out of the way... normally I do this on a Sunday morning but tommorrow I am booked in to have my new tattoo started at 10am.... seemed like a good idea at time of booking, but I know I'll be sitting tommorrow morning wondering why I'm agreeing to have pain inflicted on me at such an early time on a Sunday!... no traffic wardens in Edinburgh on a Sunday though, and it's the only time the streets are empty enough to get parked on them, so the decision is down to the lure of not having to pay the excessive parking costs.....

Went shopping today to get new slippers and robe etc. for when I go to hospital... I have a few weeks to go yet but Hubby has been nagging me to be prepared... he thinks I should have a bag packed just incase I get rushed in early. (this is likely to happen given my track record!)
He wants me to have a bag ready because every time I've been taken to hospital he's had to pack a bag and always gets it wrong! Men seem to have no idea about coordinating colours, what is scuffing about gear and what is for public eyes, or what coordinating underwear is! lol....
I have however explained that I'm not having a baby, and it's a bit strange to have a hospital bag packed just incase you're ill!!...... he's still not convinced..lol.

Stopped at the harbour on the way home... there was a working fishing boat in today...this is an unusual sight at our harbour, must have just been passing through.. it was a high tide today and the water was a bit choppy... great fun to blip!
