There's a couple of notices up along the route just now, saying that this bridge will soon be open giving us nice traffic free access over to the hillfoots in the distance here. Next month hopefully.

Really grey day out today so buggered about with some timer shots and a bit of skidding about on the bike. I didn't include the out-take shot of me head-butting the railings to save embarrassment.

The ladies of the household are out on a combined Hen party/birthday booze up (Day 5 of Heather's birthdayweek celebrations) in Glasgow and Euan has a couple of his neeburs over for a boy's night so I'm having a night of catching up with some TV. Just watched the Senna documentary which is a fantastic looking and totally engrossing record of an absolute legend. Well worth watching, even if you have no interest whatsoever in sport or Formula 1.

Now, let's see what scraps Euan and his cronies have left for me out of that massive take-away they got delivered...
