Day 13 Last steps

Well the last day was a hard trek again. The sun was relentless. In the distance you can see the village. Amy got a bit of sunstroke, but she was ok after a bit of r&r and some hydration.

This morning one of the horse-guys got a kick in the head (from a horse). We were all a bit worried but he didn't develop any bad symptoms - he just had a sore head.

Since it was the last night of the trek we had a bit of a party - which turned into a bonafide "happening". There were Nepalese, Indian, Irish and American songs; some Scottish tunes and a significant amount of dancing. It was a great night with the Nepalese guys being particularly good entertainers.
