We bond with certain bands and individuals due to time, emotion and happenstance. Then they represent our youth and opportunities, our highs and aspirations. I think we take them with us everywhere after that.

Look at Take That with all the Mums. Look at Stiff Little Fingers with all the baldy post Punks.

But some songs live forever. They get right into our soul.
