Thy Road Shall Smite Ye...

For some reason or other this morning, I decided to keep on going at the South Queensferry roundabout. I decided to see how the Kirkliston road panned out. It panned out an extra 3 miles and the experience of doing the bridge headwind 4 times over.

Maybe it's because I wasn't riding a chopper/backwardsforwards bike as this road art intimated but as I was going through Kirkliston, I heard a new sound coming from the bike. The extra miles and slow trudge through the wind let me diagnose it by the time I got to work. When I put pressure on the left pedal, the chain was rubbing against the front deraillier. Either an unlikely loosening crank or a 'rare', as the man in the shop put it, frame cracking.

Turned out it was my second 'rare' frame cracking.

Notes on the 30 Day Drawing Challenge?
Day 5 Favourite place. Bethany opted for local softplay Kingdom of Fun. My first couple of drawings were either from photos or from the depths of my heid. Today was the first where I had to try and draw something real from memory. Not my forte but gratifyingly even Bethany recognized it.
