Procrastinating

I think I must be in bowerbird mode at the moment, coveting bright coloured, shiny things - foil-wrapped chocolate fish yesterday (which were delicious, incidentally) and moroccan tea glasses that I spotted today up the shops.

Meanwhile, at home I have an absolute mess to clean up, thanks to all that torrential downpour. My house was flooded -as were many - and while today is a beautiful sunny day, have I mopped up the residual water lying throughout my house? Have I laundered the mountain of disgusting wet towels and sheets used to soak up the rainwater, or collected all the buckets, pots and pan used to catch the leaks? (Here, gentle reader, is your cue to shout "No, you haven't!!" in a very loud voice).

But I am a veritable coiled spring, about to leap into action...any...minute...now.....
