Bobsleigh

This is one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments.

We found out about the Whistler Sliding Centre (home of the 2010 winter Olympic bobsleigh, luge and skeleton) yesterday. Today we went up for a look and we watched a luge team practising. Next thing you know, someone dropped out of the afternoon bobsleigh session and Andy was hurtling around the fastest bobsleigh course in the world at speeds of 123 kph! Now that's what I call a rest day from the slopes!

I would ask Andy for a quote about the experience but he is still staring into the middle distance, mumbling about beating the Austrians and something about the Cresta Run...
