Closer to the Edge

For my birthday, I got a Karen Millen dress, a Kindle, two otero dresses, chocolate (an Easter egg from a colleague! And a galaxy cookie bar from husband), some popcorn, an oil/reed diffuser, Closer for the Edge, some jewellery...basically I was spoiled.

I baked cupcakes and gave them to staff and sixth formers, the Junior Wind Band played Happy Birthday to me, Husband greeted me - guitar in hand - and serenaded me again (less tunefully than the JWB!) and we went out for a meal at Franco's.

What a lovely day!

That was yesterday. Today was just the usual at work, with the usual craziness from kids and adults alike.

There was the added excitement of driving around with the petrol quite low indeed! My version of Closer to the Edge. Haha!
