New Forth Crossing

This is the northern end of the new Forth Crossing (i.e. Bridge).

Just out of shot at the left hand side a lovely little cottage lies, abandoned. Presumably it was compulsorily purchased to make way for the bridge.

In the picture, you can see the mess in the foreground and in the distance the roads that have been built to enable construction vehicles to move around the site.

This is an area that I plan to return to in the coming months, as the new bridge begins to take shape...
