Grand old tree

...which I think is a Caucasian wing-nut, one of a group that grow in the nature reserve down by the College. I've always thought they were wonderful and now a lot of scrub has been cleared from underneath you can get a clearer view of their individual shapes.
So this is my effort for a pretty sunless day. Really they're so beautiful and special sun almost isn't necessary, but I shall hope to get them glowing and leafy later in the year.
