Dosed up

When we told Tom that he would be having a little brother soon he leapt off Mrs B's knee and, staring hard at her tummy, said 'What now!?'

He then started thinking about names. For the next half an hour he kept trotting down the hall to his bookshelf for inspiration. We could hear him say the name to himself in his bedroom and then he's come running back to proudly announce his idea.

Harry and Ron were strong early contenders, as was Brockan (from The Boy with the Bronze Axe - what do you mean it passed you by?). Brockan might not have worked particularly well with 'Broekhuizen' though (our last name).

My favourite of his suggestions though was 'Noggin'.

With 'the Nog' as his middle name.

As you may have worked out, this was vetoed.

This poster from Seville that hangs in our hallway was my inspiration for suggestions.

All vetoed too - although I still call Milo 'Enrique' when we're alone.
