shawn

so i have been volunteering at a homeless shelter in colorado for the past three weeks and today was the very first day that i was able to bring my camera to work with me and photograph so of the new people i have met. today i met shawn who once was a photographer in ohio who loved black and white photography. we talked about how we both liked shooting flowers and landscapes and how even the simplest of subject matter can mean the world to someone else. she will be with us at the shelter for three more days and then is off to arizona on her voyage to california...i hope the landscapes from here to there are good to her.
