Tikka Unwell

Tikka has been getting more and more unwell over the past few days, and the vet has prescribed increasing doses of diuretics to help her deal with the abdominal swelling (Ascites) she has been experiencing.

None of the diuretics seemed to be having much effect for a while - but now they seem to have got a grip on her system all of a sudden, and although the swelling is now markedly less than it was, she's hardly feeling her best.

Rather touchingly, she has now started sleeping on our quilt - something she's very rarely done in all the time we've had her (probably because this was always one of Kitkat's favourite locations!)

It's nice she's feeling comfortable and getting the best love and care we can offer.
