Up to 11?

One of the great parts of my job as a music education officer is that I get to work with some talented young people in the most beautiful and creative settings. Today as part of our Music Plus mentoring project, we had the pleasure of having a recording day at the vintage La Chunky Recording Studios in Glasgow's hidden lane.

It was great day and the young folks learned loads about running a recording session. We began by setting up and recording drums, recording guitars, synths, vocals and finished off with a few hours mixing two full tracks (well jams really).

On coming home, Amélie was still a little sad after having her first set of immunisations, poor wee soul!
