Off we go, up, up and away

Totally, thoroughly excited! But what a grim day, overcast, misty and damp. Hope it's better in the 'Big Apple', still who cares, no work for a week...

Got to the airport very early, so plenty of time to get bored tramping around the supposed duty frees. What rubbish. I don't know who buys this stuff, not me, even when I'm in holiday mood. Long flight with the wind against us, nice taxi ride into the city, followed by an enormous burger in Planet Hollywood, Times Square.
