Cavorting sailors
Had a meeting at Leith Walk today, and walked around a bit looking for Blips. However, ended up Blipping something from near my office - again!
I looked it up on the net and was interested to find out all about it here. This mural is called Cavorting Sailors and was painted on the end of North Junction Street by Street Artworks (Tim Chalk and Paul Grime) in 1986. It is based on material gathered from members of the Leith Local History Project and depicts Leith's industrial past and connections with the sea.
