Not as daff-t as she looks

A good day today, result of daughter's 1st GCSE module arrived, an A!
Spotted these daffs on our walk to the pool today, a long line of glorious yellow waving in the breeze. Was able to nab a photo after school. They are the smaller tête à tête variety.

Would have dearly loved to have blipped the stunning moon, illuminating the chimney pots, but my phone and I don't have the ability to do it justice. I hope one of you guys are out there with a decent camera! Chances of seeing The Northern Lights are disappearing with the dark clouds drifting in to obscure the moon. Ah well, you can't have it all!
