Strange Sign

Walking past St John's Church on the corner of Princes Street and noticed this lonely marking close to the ground on the church building.

It reminded me of a recent blip by Croz.

So, it's either the ancient centre of Edinburgh - unlikely.

Or a subtle clue that many years ago this spot was visited by Aliens - much more likely.

Or something else altogether.
