Regents Canal

I went back to Little Venice this afternoon as there is a lovely little cafe called Waterside Cafe on one of the barges. This picture is of Regents Canal. There are three waterways at this junction The Grand Union Canal, Regents Canal and Paddington Basin which is a dead end.

Regents Canal runs towards Camden, King's Cross and Hackney which has been in the news recently as a body was found in the Canal, then on to Limehouse Basin where it joins the River Thames in Docklands.

The Grand Union runs towards Willesden Junction, Alperton and northwards to Bletchley, Hemel Hempstead and Birmingham.

Its been a lovely day weatherise in comparison to yesterday!!
